MOVING
We have exciting news.....Dan got a teaching job!!! He was offered a high school social studies teaching position in Colorado Springs. This is very bitter sweet for us. We've been rooted in Toledo for such a long time and have made so many deep friendships while we've been here, and not to mention how much closer we have drawn to all my extended family here. There's lots of mixed emotions! We are so excited to see what God has in store for us. We love this area of Colorado. It's absolutely gorgeous and we can't wait to do something adventurous before we start to have kids. We've been praying a lot about this decision and it's just amazing how God has worked everything out! He's such a big God and He never ceases to amaze us! This will be a very BIG adjustment, so please be praying for us through all of this.

It's only 1266 miles from Dunkirk to Colorado Springs. Estimated 19 hours & 20 minutes with no stops! (Jeni will be happy to know that our quickest route goes through St.Louis! Not that we'd brave driving that far with 2 little ones just yet, but I thought you'd be interested to know how very close we'll be (LOL - at least compared to how far away we are from April & Nicki!)
That is great news, tell Dan congrats on the job. I know that it can be tough to move, trust me, I've been there. But God has a plan and as long as you follow Him you are never alone. Well, keep me posted on how things go. I will be praying for smooth transitions. Oh and that is great Julie... a little road trip to Saint Louis would be great, come on two little ones can't be that bad, Moses traveled longer than that and with tons more people :) Love and miss you all.
That's not a far drive at all Julie, it's practically right around the corner! Ha! Thanks Jeni for the encouragement!
That picture is so neat. We are so very excited for you both. Maybe the Emerines and Scotts should caravan!! We could stop in St. Louis, Colorado Springs, and land in Hawaii! At each stop we could pick up more friends and have a huge Luau with April and her 2 babes! Ahhh...if only it were free!
